The area
Katholm Estate on Djursland is one of Denmark’s oldest and most beautiful Renaissance buildings. For over 400 years, Katholm has been located south of Grenå, surrounded by breathtaking forest and right next to one of Denmark’s best beaches, Fuglsang Strand.
Part of this historic cultural and natural gem is now being dismantled. In the 1st stage, 25 large plots are subdivided: Holiday home plots just 700 m from the Kattegat by the estate’s unspoilt forest and heather landscapes. For the first time, part of the unique nature is now put up for sale.
From the grounds, a path leads through beautiful forest and heather areas down to the dunes and the white sandy beach at Fuglsang Beach. Motor driving on the trail is not allowed, which makes the area peaceful, and Fuglsang Beach with its dunes, wide sandy beach and east coast water is extremely bathing friendly.
Fulgsang Strand
Fuglsang Strand is centrally located for experiences and opportunities on Djursland. Not far from Grenå with shopping opportunities, harbor, museum and for example the Kattegat Center.
For those interested in golf, the possibilities are many. Among other things, it is only a few km to Grenå Golf Club and the international spa and golf facility in connection with Lübker Golf Resort. For the younger ones, the trip to Djurs Sommerland is not long either.
